About T-Rex Strong
T-Rex Strong: Everett’s Light Shines On was created to support children diagnosed with pediatric cancer and the families who walk alongside them.
Because no family should have to face something this heavy on their own..
-Our Story
T-Rex Strong was created in honor of Everett — our little T-Rex.
He was the kind of kid who lit up a room just by walking into it.
Always smiling. Always silly. Always so full of life.
Part boy, part T-Rex he was always stomping, chomping and rawring his way through life with so much joy and strength.
He was also so silly and loved so fiercely too! He loved his family, dinosaurs, the color blue, playing in the water, and chocolate to name a few.
He truly lived his life to the fullest.

t-rex strong through it all
At just two years old, Everett was diagnosed with a brain tumor called an Ependymoma.
He went through more than anyone should ever have to face — and he carried that same T-Rex strength through it all. He had many surgeries, he had to re learn to sit up, walk, climb and more. He underwent months of treatment and in October of 2023 he rang the bell.
And through it all…
There was still joy.
Still laughter.
Still life in the middle of it.
And like so many families, we expected more time.
But after a recurrence, Everett passed away in October 2024. Just three short weeks after his fourth birthday.
There are no words.
It still doesn’t feel real…
Our hearts are forever broken.
We will forever and always miss our little T-Rex and we will always strive to honor him.

Carrying His Light Forward
We’ve walked this road. This life shattering road.
We know how much it can take from you — emotionally, physically, and in all the quiet, unseen ways.
And we also know how much it matters to feel supported in the middle of it.
This space was created to carry Everett’s light forward,
to take the love, the strength, and the joy he gave so freely
and place small pieces of it into the hands of other families walking this road.
Because even in the hardest moments…

Their worlds are turned upside down too, and it’s hard on them in ways that often go unnoticed.

Through every family we support, every moment of comfort shared, and every bit of joy we help create, his light continues to reach others.
He will Forever continue to stomp, to chomp, and to rawr.
